Wow, the service was great, friendly, and the food was awesome. Hot, tasty, presentation beautiful, and portion size was more than enough. My wife had that spaghetti and meatballs, the meatballs could use more garlic. I had the Lasagna. It was delicious. If you like Italian food, don't miss this place.

Very nice little Italian restaurant. The food was delicious and they're not stingy with their portions. The waitresses were sweet and friendly and that made the meal even that much more enjoyable. They kept our sodas full and checked on us often enough even though it was pretty busy. The prices are average to maybe a tad on the higher side but for such an enjoyable dining experience it's well worth it. I'd definitely eat here again. Salute!

It's been awhile, since I've been to Mama Rosa's. I was cruising through Gretna and I was not aware Mama Rosas had a new location. I was pleasantly surprised with a nice Restaurant and bar area. The food was fantastic as always with great service.

Food is good, price is right and the service had always been professional and prompt.

Travelling from Northern VA to Charlotte via off hiway roads, found this gem "in the middle of nowhere". Awesome, authentic Italian with good prices and great service. The only caveat I would offer is that the plain calzones have ham in them. Calzones do not usually and it is not noted as such on the menu, so if you are a vegetarian please ask them to hold the ham. The very graciously took it back and made my husband another one. Try the tiramisu, it's out of this world!

Absolutely the best Italian restaurant around the area!

Good food, but this place overcharged me on a credit card. Even after calling them, they haven't reversed the amount or sent me a check as they promised. They need to work on their honesty or following through on their promises.........or both.

This establishment is very clean and the food and service is awesome. The owner is very friendly and checks on her customers regularly I would highly recommend this restaurant to the locals and those passing through the wonderful quaint town of Gretna!

My entire family came to eat at mama rosas, it was delicious authentic Italian, we ordered. Chicken fettuccini added mushrooms, spegetti and meatball, then large pizza 3 toppings as a special get 2nd cheese pizza free so It was well within our buget. Eveybody left full and happy! (I would say Mama Rosa needs more staff so girls are so hard worked and can open 3 dinning space so more people can enjoy Mama Rosas great food and relaxing atmosphere.) We'll be back again soon! Thank you to all the hard working staff, cooks, and team members you guys are awesome!!

A real calzone. The plain has ham.50 yr vegetarian , they took it back. Yummy yummy yummy.

Mama Rosa's is a wonderful place to meet my friend for dinner on work nights. Really good food with lots of choices. I have enjoyed all I ordered there. Staff is wonderful. Just off of Highway 29 at highway 40 exit Gretna, VA

The food was great! We had eggplant parmigiana and baby back ribs. The ribs were so tender!

My husband and I were staying at the nearby hotel and stopped into this restaurant for dinner. The food was good, the atmosphere was warm and genuine, but the service was amazing. The waitstaff here are excellent and friendly. This was a great dinner for us on the road.

I ordered out. Placed the order and when i got there i paid and got my food. It was hot, delicious, and worth every cent. The pizzas are amazing, the cheese bread is amazing. Getting an extra large 2 topping and a cheese bread free is such a good deal. Love coming here to eat, and love getting takeout. Staff is friendly, and efficient. This place is worth your time when it comes to pizza and subs. Thank you ma roses for keeping me fed!!
